Welcome to White Rose Holiday Cottage, please make yourself at home
We know you will love our beautifully refurbished Grade II listed cottage as much as we do. Situated in the heart of the picturesque North Yorkshire village of Robin Hood’s Bay, it is the ideal place to get away from it all, relax, and experience all the bay has to offer.
The cottage provides holiday accommodation for 2 people, is arranged over 2 floors, has an open plan living area and a roof terrace, and a mixture of traditional charm and modern facilities makes for a very cosy home from home.
The cottage combines traditional features such as exposed beams, polished oak flooring, sash windows and a roll top bath with modern features such as central heating, built in kitchen appliances and a modern bathroom suite.
THINGS TO DO
With beaches, walking, cycling and horse riding, museum, church, gift shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs all in Robin Hoods bay, and Whitby and Scarborough not far away, there's plenty to do during your holiday at White Rose Cottage. We've put together a small guide here, and there are always leaflets left in the cottage too.
Robin Hood's Bay is a 15th century fishing village that is still home to working fishermen today. It was orininally called Bay Town but got it's new name as a result of rumours that Robin Hood visited here. It is most famous for it's history of smuggling but also has a rich natural history and plenty of fossils to be found on the beach during your holiday.
"Our stay was fantastic. Beautiful views, lovely walks and a warm and cosy cottage to come home to. What more could you ask for?!"
WHAT A TREAT
“A rooftop terrace certainly is hard to come by in Robin Hood's bay. This was a lovely treat. We will definitely return next year.”
"I really can't stress enough the beauty of Robin Hood's bay and this lovely cottage. Julia and Richard clearly love this place and were very helpful, even suggesting local places to visit."
